Sandwich Bread

You will love this bread recipe. This bread will make your sandwich filling taste good. The bread itself is tasty, What will you need more to make your sandwich taste good.  Making bread will require some patience but worth a wait.Bake this tasty bread and feel the fulfillment of awesome sandwich.

Ingredients

4 cups of bread flour/ all-purpose flour

1 tbsp yeast

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp of sugar

2 tbsp of butter/ vegetable shortening

¾  cup of milk

1½ cup of water

 

Preping,

Add half a cup of warm water to stand-mixer bowl and sprinkle yeast over it. Let it stand for about 5 mins.

Melt butter in a bowl. Mix milk, sugar, salt and butter. Add it to the stand-mixer bowl along with a cup of flour. Use a spatula and stir the mixture well, you will get a lumpy mixture.

Note: Using vegetable shortening will make the bread light and airy. Whereas butter will taste good.

Add 2½ cup of flour to the bowl. Save the rest of the flour just in case if the mixture is very sticky. Fit the dough hook to the mixer let it stir until you get a bubble-gummy mixture.

Transfer the dough to your counter and knead really well. You will end up with a soft dough. Oil the mixing bowl. Make a ball of dough and place it in the bowl, cover it with a cloth. Store it in a warm place. Leave it for about 2 hours, dough will triple in its size.

Roll in a rectangular shape, pinch all the cracks in dough together and smooth it.

Place the dough carefully in the oiled bread pan. Let it stand in a warm place till it doubles in size.

Preheat oven at 350 degrees and bake it for about 40 mins. If you see the bread gaining more of a brown color, cover it with aluminum foil and then bake for the remaining time.
